Hey, I’m Liv and I’m a Degree Qualified and EIQ Certified Nutritionist.
After a number of years working face-to-face with my clients and delivering corporate nutrition seminars, I took to the online nutritionist space where I now work with and support women from all over the world.
Naively, in the early years of my career, I thought fat loss was as simple as sticking to a calorie target and hitting ten thousand steps. I distinctly remember thinking that once I tell my clients what to do, they’ll be well on their way. I’m ashamed to admit that “personalised meal plans” were also once part of my service offering.
That was five years ago, and thankfully, I and my coaching methods have come a long way since then. You see, like you, the women I was working with knew what to do. Many of them had even achieved fantastic fat loss results in the past; this wasn’t their first rodeo. As I’m sure you can resonate with, “knowing what to do” wasn’t their issue; actioning it and doing so consistently was.
Noticing this pattern of repeated dieting attempts, which has now been coined “yo-yo dieting”, helped me develop my unique approach to women’s fat loss into what it is today.
OBM Nutrition Coaching encompasses a method of fat loss that rejects rigid meal plans, extreme calorie restriction and weighing yourself excessively. Instead, through a combination of habit development, nutrition education and mindfulness, I have helped hundreds of women feel confident in their everyday food choices, eat socially without guilt, improve their body image and end their years of yo-yo dieting.
